  What Have We Been Doing Lately?   
Snow on building We had a near record-breaking amount of snow on February 11.
sister charles marie and crowd Sisters Charles Marie and Roberta Hesse attended the Texas Mission Conference in San Juan, TX.
SSMN reunion The SSMNs had their Reunion for 137 Years in Texas on March 6.  Alumni and friends celebrated at Nolan High School.
Dominican priests We were visited by three Dominican novices on March 11.
sisters and mail Sisters and friends helped with the mailing of the invitations for the Reunion for the SSMN’s in Dallas on the 16th of March.
Sister Mary Rose Lopresto Sr. Mary Rose Lopresto died on March 31 after spending six months at OLV Center.
four priests celebrate mass We had four priests celebrating the Easter Vigil here at OLV Center.
retreat Sr. St. John gave a retreat to the St. Michael’s Parish Staff  on April 10.
Reunion at Dunne Bishop Dunne High School hosted the SSMNs Reunion for 137 years in Texas on April 24.  Alumni and friends celebrated with the sisters.
Friends visit OLV On April 30, Teresa Smart visited at OLV Center with three friends from University of Dallas.
Visit from Mexico Sisters Delphine and Cecilia from a congregation in Mexico visited the diocese at Bishop Vann’s invitation.

 

Sisters learning English

Sisters Marie Odette, Claire Marie and Dancille spent three months in Buffalo for intense study of English.
gift giving Sister Mary Fulbright gave gifts from the Development Office to the Reunion Committee to thank them for their hard work.
come and see Ten young women gathered at OLV Center for a vocation retreat day.
father carmen On May 30 after lunch, the sisters thanked Father Carmen for his constant and generous services as Chaplain for almost two years
OLV yearly retreat Sister Louise Swanston from England gave our annual retreat the first week of June.
council The Provincial Council held a three-day meeting at a lodge in Muenster after the retreat.  Sister Louise Swanston was present with them.
Sister Rosemary Sr. Rosemary Stanton went to Brazil on June 17 for five weeks to renew her Visa and help in the work there.  She will give retreats in two of the parishes.
