  What Have We Been Doing Lately?   
Candidate Lola Ulupano showed us how to cut into a coconut on November 8, 2009.
Sisters Francesca and Yolanda were invited by Bishop Vann to go on the 40th Anniversary Pilgrimage to Rome.
Sister Francesca was designated to meet Pope Benedict XVI personally on November 10.
On November 11, we celebrated our Founders' Day in union with all the Provinces of the Congregation.
Sr. Rosemary attended the Sister Formation Conference in Colorado in November.
A group of Freshmen students in retreat at Camp Carter the Week of November 17 had Sister Rosemary as a Presenter.
Sister Charles Marie attended the 50th Anniversary of the SSMNs in Rwanda.
Fathers Carmen Mele and Frank Miller concelebrated our Mass at Thanksgiving.
On December 6, Oblate Reyna Castelan received the Dei Verbum Award at the University of Dallas.
The Euterpians sang for us again this year on December 9, and we enjoyed their music.
The SSMN Auxiliary came to OLV Center on December 12 to decorate for Christmas, serve a lunch, and draw for the raffle.

 

The Young Adult Singles Group presented us with a check from their Flag Football Day.
Bishop Kevin Vann visited us on Christmas Eve, played Christmas Carols and sang with us.
OLV Elementary students offered Spiritual Bouquets to incoming Principal, Tawilhua Mitchell, and Trudy Miller who will work at the Catholic Center.
On January 18, 2010, Sister Jane Conway received the Faithful Servant Award from the Southwest Liturgical Conference in Houston.
The Sisters of the Province held their Provincial Assembly on January 22.

Bishop Vann celebrated Mass at OLV Elementary School on Grandparents' Day, February 4.

 

On February 6, OLV School celebrated its 100th Anniversary.
